Deep South Angler's mission is to share our love for the sport of fly fishing with the Southeast and the rest of the world.  We seek to do this by building a network of diverse, like-minded people who share the same love of fishing.  DSA is developing a line of products for both new and experienced anglers.  We seek to improve the fishing world by developing helpful online guides and resources for both new and experienced fly anglers and by fostering environmental awareness through dedicated encouragement of aquatics conservation.    

Fly fishing can be done in nearly any climate in the world for almost every species of fish.  To our great fortune, the United States is home to some of the best fishing locales in the world, its waterways boasting an immense diversity of sportfish.  More still, nearly all of those species can be targeted by the fly angler: from bass, bream and crappie, catfish, trout, (of course) and others.  In light of this, we have discovered the need to start a movement with the hope that fly fishing will become more prevalent in the South.  First and foremost, we are sharers of our passion.  Second, we are developers of a southern-based fishing brand of extraordinary value - a brand which embodies both the excitement and sophistication, the depth of knowledge and skill, and the boundless creativity found within fishing's heralded tradition.  Third, we are steadfastly dedicated to the preservation of nature.  We want our children's children to have just as many fishing opportunities as we do.
